A well known and charming sea resort, 10 Km. from Palermo and about half an hour from the School. Mondello was a small fishermen's village and, still today, it shows a never forgotten sea and fishing culture.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, it became a flourishing and charming residential center of Palermitan aristocracy and middle classes and a lot of wonderful dwellings were built in liberty style. Among the remains of the "belle époque" is the bathing establishment "Kursaal" and some elegant villas recently restored.

Today, it is considered "Palermo's beach" with a long, clean beach, sailing and diving clubs, restaurants, icecream parlours and. everything is useful to enjoy the sea!
