HàlisaClub Regulations

Standard Booking

1- HàlisaClub, as it is an Italian language school, directly supplies only the language courses and excursions specifically related to the courses themselves. For the other services, (accommodations, rent-a-car, etc...) hàlisaClub offers free of cost only the booking service from the dealers with whom we have arrangements.

2- HàlisaClub does not assume any responsibility for the services you book for yourself through other dealers (for example, accommodations, rent-a-car�).

3 � The cost of the courses included brochures, guides and informative materials about
Sicily, didactic materials, manuals and the Certificate of Attendance.

4 � Usually, a down payment is requested upon the confirmation of the Client's reservation. 
5 � In the case in which a down payment is requested from you, it will be the equal to: 52€ for all types of courses for whatever the duration may be, in addition to the enrolment fee of 42€, in addition to 30% of the total cost of the lodging (if it is booked) and the entire cost of the Safety & Security Program (if requested).

6 � The balance of the reservation and the payment of all the services should be paid in full within the first 2 days of the course. We are aware that some types of lodging require the balance to be paid before your arrival; in these cases, hàlisaClub will communicate this payment condition to the deed of confirmation for the reservation. 

7 � The payment of the lessons and all of the services arranged directly by hàlisaClub will be paid directly to hàlisaClub. The payment of the other services not furnished directly by hàlisaClub (accommodations, rent-a-car�) is to be paid by the Client directly to the managers of the services that have arrangements with hàlisaClub.

8 � Cancellations of the bookings will be accepted only if received exclusively by fax or registered and are subject to penalties stabilized by the service dealers. For the cancellation of courses, the following penalties will be instituted: * penalty of 20% of the deposit, or of the down payment, for cancellations received from 30 days of the start of the course.
* penalty of 50% of the deposit, or of the down payment, for cancellations received from 29 days to 10 days before the start of the course.
* penalty equal to the entire amount of the deposit, or of the down payment, for cancellations received 9 days or less before the start of the course.
* the entry tax and the payment toward the Safety & Security Program (if chosen) will always be kept in their entirety and will not be refunded.

Special Offers and Last Minute Packages


9 � The �Special Offers� or �Last Minute� packages will be paid to hàlisaClub in advance, in every case, at the moment of the booking confirmation. For Last Minute reservations no refunds will be given in the case of cancellation of the order on the part of the Client.


Discounts


10 - Families (3 or more persons) and groups of friends (at least 3 people), can take advantage of a 10% discount (only on the cost of the lessons).  This discount will be applied only if the group (or family) contemporaneously effectuates the reservation for all of the people in the group and if the people in the group have chosen to take lessons during the same period.  

11 � On the �excursions� booked in advance along with the lessons, hàlisaClub will apply a discount of 10% on the base prices.  HàlisaClub reserves the right, for its own needs, to change the programs of the excursions even if booked in advance.  In this case, the client has the option to choose another excursion with the same discount. If the client autonomously decides to substitute one of the excursions already booked, he or she looses the right to the discount on the newly chosen excursion.
All of the aforementioned discounts are not cumulative with other special discounts and are not applicable in the case of �special offers�.

Other Booking Conditions


12 � In the case of particular events, the School reserves the right to cancel in part, or cancel in its entirety, the reservation. In this case, the entire amount of the deposit will be refunded to the Client.

 13 � In the case when a student cannot participate in, or cannot complete a course already paid for, no part of the deposit will be refunded.

 
14 � The school is not responsible for robbery, loss of personal items or damage caused by other students.

15 - HàlisaClub does not assume any responsibility for the "Safety & Security
Program".  This program, supplied by an insurance company, is subject to definitive rules and formal agreements on the part of the �Client� and the �Insurance Company�. HàlisaClub only supplies the booking service for the Program managed by the insurance for the accounts of its own clients. The general rules of the program are listed in the section of the site relative to the Program. 

16 � In case of a tardy flight or late train arrival, and if the �transfer� service is chosen, the designated authority from hàlisaClub will wait for a maximum of 60 minutes. In the case in which the client advises hàlisaClub of a delay of more than 60 minutes, the designated authority will wait up to a total of 120 minutes and will receive an additional 20% of the cost of this service.
